The former Steinkaute of Nieder-Saulheim adjoins the old boundary path to Partenheim. Already in the Middle Ages, limestone was extracted here for house construction. Today it is once again filled in and is now used for agriculture. Traces, in the form of larger stone blocks, can be found in the neighboring vineyards.
