One of the stone witnesses to Saulheim's past is the "Lange Stein", a cult and court place on the L 401 between Saulheim and Wörrstadt, where the Rhine and Wildgraves used to hold court. This 3.10 meter high and largest hinkelstein in Rheinhessen (approx. 1500 BC) formed the border between Franconia and Alemanni.
