The town hall is about 120 years older than the keystone, which bears the date 1819 in the archway. The historic building is an eye-catcher with its small bell tower set on the roof, as well as a dormer with a built-in clock on the north side. This side is also characterised by a wide, round-arched entrance door. On the south side, an external staircase made of sandstone with a platform and cheek walls leads to the upper floor, which has no other access from the inside. The town hall was built in electoral times in the form of the so-called "Palatine chapel town halls". In this type of building, the ground floor was used as the chapel of a church congregation, while the upper floor housed the offices of the civil congregation. The two-storey house with a hipped mansard roof is a solid plaster building. The ground floor can be accessed from the west through a segmental-arched entrance door. In the past, this historic building was used as a chapel, schoolmaster's residence, blacksmith's shop, fire station, emergency residence, youth room, community room, museum of local history and seat of the local administration with mayor and council hall. Currently, the office of the local mayor and the council hall are located on the upper floor, and the youth meeting place is on the ground floor. Very interesting is the historic clockwork from 1897/98 with its weight lift, which is led in a separate brick shaft through the ground floor to below ground level. The town hall is a listed building.
