Your City-Your Winery - Winery of the City of Alzey
This is our guiding thought with which we embarked in 2012 to give the city winery a new look and to fill it with life. For, like hardly any other winery, the city of Alzey, the people who live here, the city winery, and its wines are closely intertwined. This is vividly demonstrated by the over 100-year success story. While Stefan Metzler brings his skills and experience as a master winemaker, Rainer Becker and his partner Alexandra Scheuermann ensure strong events that make the city winery a popular meeting place. All three are enthusiastically at work and continuously inspire each other with new ideas to promote the identification of the people of Alzey with their city winery.
