The Weidenborn spring, also known as the "Warebörnche," was very significant in earlier times, especially for winemakers and farmers. They primarily used the spring to irrigate their young fields. In large buckets or barrels, the water was initially extracted from the spring using mechanical pumps and later also with gasoline pumps and transported to the fields or vineyards. This water was also used to prepare the spray mixture. Today, the "Warebörnche" primarily has tourist or recreational significance due to its redesign.
