The history of our winery goes back over 7 generations to the year 1770. As early as the 18th century, there was an inn on Ludwigshof. According to tradition, Johannes Bückler, also known as Schinderhannes, is said to have stopped here. Ludwig Leonhard (*02.02.1830) managed the farm until it was taken over by my great-grandfather Wilhelm Ludwig Leonhard (*21.05.1879). Gästehaus Stritter

The winery, located in the centre of town, offers beautiful, newly built rooms/holiday flats and is the ideal starting point for beautiful walks through the vineyards, to interesting sights - and shopping is not neglected either. Excellent red and white wines from our own vineyards can be tasted and purchased at reasonable prices. An additional guest bed can be provided. The new event hall "kING" and the new further education centre are about five minutes away on foot.

Ferienwohnung Anne Wieland

The apartment is located in the traditional wine village Bechtolsheim am Petersberg. From here you can make trips to the nearer (Alzey, Nierstein) and further surroundings (Heidelberg, Rhine). The old village centre of Bechtolsheim, especially the beautiful simultaneous church, is worth a visit. The Selztal cycle path and beautiful walking trails, e.g. the ascent to the Petersberg, lead through the vineyard landscape.
