Duty to provide information when collecting personal data pursuant to Art. 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO)

Our handling of your data and your rights under the GDPR

Your data is processed and kept at Rheinhessen-Touristik GmbH for a variety of tasks. The legal basis for the processing of your data is the GDPR (Regulation EU 2016/679), a special provision in a specialized law or the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG of 30 June 2017 (BGBl. I p. 2097) in its currently valid version.

If personal data is processed in whole or in part automatically or if non-automated processing of personal data stored or to be stored in a file system takes place, its scope of application is opened up according to § 1 para. 1 sentence 2 BDSG. The BDSG is gem. § 1 Abs. 5 BDSG does not apply, as far as the DSGVO directly applies.

The lawfulness of the processing of personal data is governed by Art. 6 (1) GDPR.

In order for a processing to be lawful, personal data must be processed with the consent of the data subject or on any other valid legal basis resulting from the GDPR, from other Union or national law (Article 6 (1) GDPR and recital 40). Any processing of personal data requires a legal basis.

If you contact us, your data (name, contact details, if provided by you) and your message in accordance with Art. 5 para. 1 lit. b) DSGVO processed exclusively for the purpose of processing and processing your request. These data are processed by us on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR or Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO processed to process your request.

brochure orders

We process your order data (title, name, address, e-mail address and other data provided by you) to send our free brochures. The data is processed to carry out pre-contractual measures (Article 6 (1) (b) DSGVO) or due to our predominant interest in the optimal marketing of our offer according to Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR.
We transmit your address data to the company commissioned with the delivery.

booking inquiries

In the context of booking inquiries, we process the following data from you: name, e-mail address, telephone number and other data provided by you. The data processing takes place in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. For further contract initiation we transfer your data to the requested service providers.

Booking of accommodation and daily offers

If you book accommodation and daily specials, we process the following data: (name, address, telephone number, e-mail address). This data processing is carried out to fulfill the contract in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR.

Press releases

If you receive press releases from us, your data (name, contact details) will be used exclusively to provide the relevant information. Your data will be processed by us on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR.

Information service

We regularly send information about our company, about our offers as well as information of our partner organizations and specialist contributions. If you receive this information from us, this is done on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) and f) DSGVO.
