The Oppenheimer Rhine Beach is located in the middle of the nature reserve. Relaxation works wonderfully on the large lawn and the sand and gravel beach by the Rhine. In an adjoining restaurant with a terrace, one can sit comfortably. Oppenheim is very well accessible by regional train. From the Oppenheimer train station, it is about two kilometers through a forest to the swimming area. Parking directly at the beach is very limited. It is advisable to come by bike or on foot.
Using the green spaces and the riverbank area is at your own risk! The city of Oppenheim explicitly advises against bathing and swimming in the Rhine due to known dangers!
