A glass of wine in hand, the streets of Mainz pass by the window, and in between, there are exciting stories about the city to hear. For the 20th anniversary of the cultural and wine ambassadors of Rheinhessen, the historic Mainz tram will become a rolling wine tasting room.
During the ride through Mainz, you will taste six selected wines from various Rheinhessen wineries. Along the way, you will learn more about the wines, their origins, and the people who create them with passion. Small Rheinhessen delicacies accompany the tasting.
The city itself is not overlooked during this special tram ride. As the main attractions of Mainz pass by outside, you will discover interesting facts and entertaining stories about Mainz.
The anniversary ride combines Rheinhessen wine culture with a tour of the city and offers a great opportunity to toast to 20 years of cultural and wine ambassadors of Rheinhessen together.
