Adventsmarkt in Mainz-Laubenheim

The Advent market opens the Christmas season in Mainz-Laubenheim. Friday traditionally starts at 5 p.m. with a stand offering "Weck, Worscht und Glühwoi" to cozy up the Advent weekend.

On Saturday and Sunday from 2 p.m. the actual Advent market takes place: You can expect festive music with a children's choir, brass ensemble, and singing choir, as well as a delightful arts and crafts market featuring jewelry, beeswax candles, honey, handmade, painted, and wooden crafts, cookies, liqueurs, and much more.

The local customs association takes care of the culinary delights. The Catholic kindergarten delights guests on both days with homemade cakes, waffles, and delicious hot beverages for young and old.
