Rediscovering Old Techniques
Paper Ornaments as Delicate Christmas Decorations
Workshop
In this workshop, we’ll create delicate Christmas decorations with our own personal touch. Using stamps we carve ourselves, we’ll create intricate printed patterns on paper; their basic geometric shapes—such as squares and triangles—offer a wide range of possibilities for creating unique compositions. Through cutting, folding, and gluing, we’ll ultimately create elegant, three-dimensional gift tags or Christmas tree ornaments.
The workshop is led by artist and museum staff member Nadine Hanssen. It’s open to anyone who enjoys creative precision and wants to reinterpret traditional techniques in a creative way.
