Bornheim Swings

Big Band '82 stands for more than 40 years of jazz and swing music in rich big band sound. Modern jazz goes hand in hand with traditional jazz, arrangements by well-known jazz greats are featured alongside original compositions – whether swing, Latin, or rock.
The band, consisting of eighteen musicians and two charming vocalists, consistently delights its audience. Here, skill and experience meet joy of play and good mood.
The result: fun and high entertainment value for both listeners and musicians! The band is led by Rainer Heute, who also presents the program. Primarily, he is the baritone saxophonist of the Frankfurt Radio Big Band at Hessischer Rundfunk.
