Events by „Bees denäwe“ (Klaus Lohr and Franz Offenbächer) are a mix of music, comedy, and absurd theater with a strong focus on the South Hessian dialect (Ried dialect), in which they parody everyday madness, combine socially critical themes with nonsense, and cultivate a sense of home, often unplugged and with a lot of Ebbelwoi charm.  

They draw on various genres such as blues, rock'n'roll, reggae, and sea shanties, often with a Hessian twist. The core is the cultivation and humorous handling of the South Hessian dialect, from A to Z. They poke fun at absurd everyday topics and the "madness," providing "answers to questions that no one asks." The performances are infused with love for the homeland, often referencing local circumstances and the "Äbbelwoi."
