In line with this motto, you can not only learn about the historical development of the bicycle, but also try out selected bicycles.

Exhibits from all eras and interesting facts about the bicycle since the beginning of bicycle history in 1817 make your visit to the Rheinhessian Bicycle Museum a unique experience.

We also offer annually changing special exhibitions on the topic of bicycles. In 2026, the special exhibition will be titled: "Bicycles with Tailwind".

The Rheinhessian Bicycle Museum is wheelchair accessible.

Admission is free.
Guided tours outside of opening hours are possible by arrangement with the Tourist Info Gau-Algesheim.
