What happens when tradition meets innovation and the fire of the Balkan spirit burns bright? Well, that is the Balkan Fuego Trio - a unique ensemble that combines the fiery rhythms of the Balkans with the passionate intensity of Flamenco. 

The unexpected combination of Qanun, Kaval, and guitar creates a distinctive, unique sound and a musical identity that is truly one-of-a-kind in today's music scene. Our music is an adventurous journey through the diverse landscapes of Balkan folklore, enriched by the vibrant energy of Flamenco and the improvisational spirit of jazz. Each performance transcends borders and genres, uniting traditional sounds with contemporary influences to create something completely new. 

Our live shows are an explosion of energy, passion, and technical skill, where every note comes alive. We aim to create an atmosphere where the audience not only listens but also feels, dances, and lives the music with us. Each member of the Balkan Fuego Trio brings their own rich cultural background and artistic vision, resulting in a musical fusion that is as dynamic and diverse as our backgrounds.

On the occasion of the "Year of the Accordion," Sebastian Kraus reactivates his band "Die Gegenmutter" (Accordion Metal/Musette Punk) with students and teachers from the music school. In the JUKU, he is supported by Jan Philipp Ewald on electric guitar and Jonas Engelmann on electric bass.
