Ein Trip durch das römische Alzey - Salve Altiaium

The cultural and wine ambassadors invite you to a "Trip through Roman Alzey" on Saturday, June 13, 2026. Over 500 years of Roman influence have endowed Alzey with a rich Roman past. During the tour, you will explore the former Vicus, which was a "bathing house," and the history of the late Roman fort. You will also learn all sorts of things about the daily life of the Romans and visit the new stone hall with the displayed finds that made headlines throughout Germany. The wine tasting at the end of the tour completes the "Roman" experience.

The meeting point for the tour is at 2:00 PM at the town hall square.
