The circular tour leads you into the silence of the hollow ways, whose meter-high loess walls provide a protected habitat for rare plants and animals. Here, light and shadow change naturally, immersing the hollow ways in a unique atmosphere. Along the tour, vistas open up over the expansive hilly landscape of Rheinhessen all the way to the Rhine Valley and the Odenwald. Between vineyards, geological features, and tranquil landscapes, a unique hiking experience unfolds.

After the celebratory event in the community center, the 14-kilometer circular path will officially be opened. Hundreds of hiking enthusiasts from all over Rheinhessen are expected. Along the route, four supply stations are planned, where guests can enjoy the hospitality of the Alsheim residents and the excellent wine from the fertile loess soils.
