Welcome to the 35th Wingertsheisjewanderung in Framersheim.

When the vineyards around Framersheim dress in their late summer attire, the traditional Wingertsheisjewanderung once again invites to discover, enjoy, and linger, drawing numerous locals and guests from near and far into the idyll in the heart of Rheinhessen.

Our annual wine hike starts at stand No. 1 at 11:00 a.m., as tradition dictates, with a church service and a wine-themed devotion.

“Where the flag hangs, drinks are served.” This is also the motto of this year's event.

The Framersheim Carnival Club welcomes you at stand No. 1 with wine, sparkling wine, and small culinary delights. The starting point for a great round of about 5 kilometers through a beautiful vineyard landscape with nice people from
the region. Here you can enjoy exquisite wines from local cellars – from spritzy Riesling to fruity Burgunders to hearty red wines.
Small local specialties and hearty Rheinhessen dishes will also be offered.
Coffee and cake must of course not be missing.

The Framersheim Wingertsheisjewanderung has long been more than just an excursion into nature. It is an expression of Rheinhessen wine culture, reflected in hospitality, regional cohesion, and the love of good food and drink.
In addition to the culinary offerings, the hike particularly captivates with its special atmosphere.
