Guided tour through the Joyful Vineyard

The tour through Nackenheim begins with a glass of wine at the Schiffermast, which recalls the historical professions along the Rhine. The historic town hall is next on the agenda, where a bust of Carl Zuckmayer brings the honorary citizen to life. Following the Buttemännje-Weg, we head to the mountain chapel and through the vineyards, with a look at the history of the capsule factory and Zuckmayer's birthplace, toward the lookout point Ehrenkreuz and information about wine. Duration of the tour is about 2.5 hours.
