In the vicinity of the Carolingian palace complex, many women’s voices can be heard. Starting with the Byzantine princess, through Saint Hildegard, to the great benefactresses of the 19th century. On a tour through the history of Ingelheim, we illuminate the lives and contributions of wise women and their influence on powerful men and poor folks.
