TWOGETHER – Two artistic positions in dialogue
While Ulrike Gaiser seeks naturalness and an inner source of strength in her material-rich, archaic image surfaces, Utaellamarie Peter creates color-intensive, surreal visual worlds that exist between reality and fantasy. Together, their works open spaces for perception, reflection, and new perspectives on our world.
Ulrike Gaiser lives and works in the Taunus region. After a first professional career in banking, she dedicated herself entirely to art and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kolbermoor, where she was a master pupil of Gabriele Musebrink. In her works, the search for naturalness and authenticity as a means of accessing one's own inner source of strength is central. Using marble flour, marsh lime, pigments, and earths, she creates multi-layered, relief-like image surfaces, whose cracks, breaks, and traces are expressions of deep honesty. Her works evoke quiet, meditative spaces in which inner processes and organic growth are reflected.
Utaellamarie Peter approaches the world in a completely different way. After many years of work as a chemical engineer in environmental protection, she chose the path of art and completed training at private art academies. In her color-intensive, mostly figurative acrylic and oil paintings, surreal visual worlds full of imagination, quirkiness, and subtle irony emerge. Her works reflect being in the here and now—sometimes seriously, sometimes with a winking humor.
Utaellamarie Peter lives and works near Alzey and organizes the group kunstraum-alzey.
Despite the differences in materiality and visual language, both artists share an interest in perception and personal positioning in a complex present. TWOGETHER makes visible how two contrasting artistic approaches enter into dialogue and open up new perspectives.

The artists will be present in person on Sunday, September 6, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and will gladly guide visitors through the exhibition if interested.
