Herb hike

Just in time for the spring equinox, we are starting this year's herb season. You can expect a hike through the unique landscape of the Rheinhessian Switzerland. Along the dreamy slopes of the Hexenkanzel, past bizarre rock and dry grass formations, one of the most valuable and rare spring plants for bees will be explored: the beautiful and protected Pulsatilla vulgaris, which is also commonly referred to as "Rheinhessian Gentian".
During the approximately 2-hour hike, some first spring herbs will be shown, explained, and presented in a cultural-historical context. The hike concludes with a hearty witch's soup and delicious wine.

The meeting point is on March 22, 2026, at 10:30 AM in the center of Siefersheim (bus stop), price: 25 euros/person
