This was not always the case. Medieval music was more focused on structure than on sound sensuality. It was only through the "revolution" of music in the 16th century that new paths were opened to enter these sound spaces. A wide spectrum of auditory-sensual experiences emerged.

The close connection between text and music allows for greater clarity and better understanding of these sound creations. Thus, the foundations of music were established as we still understand them today.

In this concert, we would like to dive into this fascinating world of sound creations with motets by Orlando di Lasso and other composers of his time.
