Krabat - szenische Lesung mit dem Schauspieler Rainer Rudloff

The 13-year-old Krabat apprentices with the witch miller of Schwarzkollm. There he learns not only the craft of milling but also the power of black magic.
But over time he must realize that magical knowledge has its price: every year one of the miller’s apprentices dies in battle with the master, as his soul is held as collateral for magical power by the devil.
So Krabat decides to resist the master. But he cannot do this alone. Only the love of a woman can save him from the dark entanglement...
Otfried Preußler tells the old Sorbian legend in such a compelling way that it sends chills down your spine while reading. This shuddering becomes even more intense when Rainer Rudloff lends his powerful voice to the book.
The actor is an extraordinary voice changer and a sought-after specialist for staged readings. When he whispers, gasps, grins, and groans, the cunning master, the brawling apprentices, and the daring Krabat come to life as if they have stepped out of the book!
A gripping and timeless classic about the temptation of power!
