KulturSINN Rhein-Selz: Best of Swing with the Frankfurt Jazz Trio and Werner Lohr

Join KulturSINN Rhein-Selz on a musical journey into the 30s and 40s of the Swing era: Take the A-Train, Tea for Two, As Time Goes By, Night and Day, Honeysuckle Rose, and many more are on the program of your musical companions, the Frankfurt Jazz Trio.

At the piano is Thilo Wagner, one of the most renowned and busiest jazz pianists in Germany – tours and festivals have taken him around the globe. On bass is Bastian Weinig. Since 2019, he has been a permanent member of the jazz ensemble of Hessischer Rundfunk, performing at venues such as Jazz im Palmengarten and the Alte Oper Frankfurt. The drummer and recipient of the Hessian Jazz Award, Thomas Cremer, is a co-founder of the Frankfurt Jazz Big Band. Cremer has played at numerous festivals and many radio and television productions. Werner Lohr, the well-known and distinctive voice of Hessischer Rundfunk, complements the musical program with knowledgeable and entertaining comments and anecdotes.

During the concert, a curated selection of Rheinhessen delicacies and the finest Rheinhessen wines will be available for purchase on site in the historic atmosphere of Nierstein's marketplace. Joy of life meets cultural enjoyment.
