KulturSINN Highlight – Symphony Concert in Advent at the Oppenheim Katharinenkirche

A symphony concert in the Oppenheim Katharinenkirche creates a festive atmosphere in Advent – a KulturSINN highlight in 2026. The program of the pre-Christmas symphony concert conducted by Alexander Mayer features Charles-Marie Widor's Sinfonia Sacra op. 81 “Nun komm der Heiden Heiland” for organ and large orchestra. The Symphony No. 4 in E minor op. 98 by Johannes Brahms will be accompanied at the organ by Ralf Bibiella, the choral director of the Katharinenkirche.

And as is customary in Rheinhessen, the cultural event will be complemented by culinary delights. The Völkers restaurant in Oppenheim delights guests' palates with a 3-course menu. Culture in churches and culinary experiences form the harmony of this unique event series in Rheinhessen.
