Kunstausstellung "FARBE.KÖRPER.RAUM."

Silvia Siemes presents female figures made of clay. On the porous surface, she subtly hints at the skin and light clothing with delicate glaze. The figures stand or sit, casually, focused, indeed absorbed in themselves, in a cozy self-warmth, deeply relaxed. Their gaze is directed both into nowhere and within themselves. They take the right to pause from the world and its demands. Their inner freedom grants them presence, distance, and an attention like on a stage. In real life, one would want to meet such people.

Thomas Rissler's abstract paintings in oil, acrylic, spray, and mixed techniques hang on the walls behind the sculptures. Forms, beings, and spots of many colors swarm towards us – moved by a common energy like colorful flocks of birds. Executed in oil, acrylic, and with spray paint, we see artistically harnessed bustling images.
