LONERS UNITED - A Tribute to Neil Young

Neil Young at the Old E-Werk in Nierstein?! That would be nice... but at least his music will resonate from the E-Werk stage on Saturday evening!

Neil Young is an idiosyncratic singer and guitarist, composer of ingeniously simple songs in the country-folk guise, and then again a master of ceremonies of obsessive collective improvisations in slow motion.... Together with his long-time collaborators Crazy Horse
Young has had a lasting influence on rock music culture. The Loners United have put together a diverse menu from his most famous pieces. The first course shows Neil from his acoustic side, while the main course is characterized by electrifying, epic electric guitar excursions.

Felix Franke has a singing voice that is eerily similar to Neil's, and his guitar playing, acoustic and electric, sounds "official".... Tom Bola supports Felix with harmonious vocals and on the guitars.... Bernie Schneider is an experienced musician, at home as a guitarist and bassist in many music genres, and with the Loners, he takes care of the rich, deep tones.... Walde Widera is, when needed, a fine, intricate percussionist, but can just as easily triumph with power and drives his colleagues relentlessly before him....
