Medieval market at the Landskron castle ruins

Historic spectacle in the castle ruins and on the Bürgerwiese. Over the weekend, the Staufer castle ruins of Landskron and the adjacent Bürgerwiese will again be the scene of the popular Oppenheimer Medieval Market. There, merchants, craftsmen, knights, and ladies of the castle will come together for a lively gathering. The organizer of the medieval market is "Lorraine Médiévale" from Völklingen under the direction of Karolan Lieb. Together with him, more than 40 stalls from Germany and neighboring countries, featuring craftsmen from glove makers to clay builders, will fill the market area around the ruins for thousands of guests.
