Jens Kommnick lives in Wremen - a fishing village on the North Sea - and works as a musician, composer, arranger, producer, and freelance author. He began enthusiastically learning to play the guitar at the age of 11 and initially oriented himself towards personalities from the singer-songwriter and folk guitarist scene (Reinhard Mey, Hannes Wader, Werner Lämmerhirt, etc.). By the age of 15, he had his first solo performances as a guitarist in German folk clubs. Additionally, he received a 4-year engagement at the Stadttheater Bremerhaven. At 17, he came into contact with Irish musicians, which sparked his love for Celtic music that continues to this day.
