Open Stage

Jens Kommnick lives in Wremen - a fishing village on the North Sea - and works as a musician, composer, arranger, producer, and freelance author. He began to enthusiastically learn to play the guitar at the age of 11, initially orienting himself toward personalities from the singer-songwriter and folk guitarist scene (Reinhard Mey, Hannes Wader, Werner Lämmerhirt, etc.). At 15, he had his first solo performances as a guitarist in German folk clubs. Additionally, he received a 4-year engagement at the Bremerhaven City Theater. At 17, he came into contact with Irish musicians, which sparked his love for Celtic music that continues to this day.
