Discover the Rheinhessen autumn landscape on a hike to six wine stands!

The TuS 1897 Saulheim e.V. once again invites you to orientation wine hiking this year.
On Sunday, September 27, 2026, you can start between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. at the community center in Saulheim. Free parking is available opposite the sports hall as well as at the sports field. Whether alone or in a group: Participants will hike to six wine tasting stands set up by local winemakers in the Saulheim vineyards. Small snacks will be offered. Important: Please bring your own glass! For the hike itself, we recommend taking enough liquids and provisions – a water bottle and snacks should be included in your luggage. The TuS 1897 Saulheim e.V. has once again put together a varied route through the vineyards. Participants will receive the accompanying topographic map at the start. You can choose between the long route of 12 km and the short route of 8 km. The participation fee is to be paid at the start – please note that only cash payment is possible. There is a fee structure that accommodates children and non-drinkers. Those who wish to participate in the raffle for small prizes at the finish should have their card stamped at each of the six checkpoints.
Registration of larger groups is desired, but not a prerequisite for participation.
The sufficient insurance coverage is the responsibility of the participants.
