Poetry Slam - Wortkunst trifft Zeitreise

From 6:00 PM (door opening), the doors to the Poetry Slam "Time Travel" will open, which is entirely dedicated to the 800 years of city rights. Poetry Slam – this means literature comes alive. From 7:00 PM (start), poetry, humor, storytelling, and performance will merge on stage. Here, people meet who paint pictures with language, create goosebumps with words, and bring entire worlds to life in just a few minutes. The audience decides who wins the evening – and thus becomes part of the show.

The Oppenheimer Slam is something very special: it connects the rich history of the city with the calmness of rural Rheinhessen. Experienced artists will travel to take the listeners on a literary journey through time – from medieval marketplaces to visions of a possible future. Sometimes quiet and contemplative, sometimes loud and energetic. One thing is certain: it will be an evening full of surprises and emotions.
