Sascha Gutzeit reads from “Whirl under the meadow”

What is happening in the meadow behind Grandpa Hubert's garden fence? The

old butterfly Walter reports of a mysterious light that

he observed at night. As Luise investigates the mystery,

she experiences exciting things not only on the neighbor’s property,

but also deep underground!

There are around 600 different species of wild bees in

Germany, but most people only know the honeybee. On

this hike, we will look to see if we can also spot wild bees

and hear some exciting things about their way of life and also

what each individual can do in the garden or on the balcony for these

species.
