Rheinhessen liest: Kneipenleben mit Wolfgang „Wolfi“ Klein

Whoever has spent 45 years behind the bar has a lot to tell. Wolfgang "Wolfi" Klein knows the Mainz pub life like hardly anyone else. In Caveau, Quartier Mayence, and Zum Löwen, he has collected stories over the decades that are best shared over a good glass of wine.

Under the motto "I gladly confess over a glass of wine!" he takes you on a journey through nearly half a century of Mainz pub history in the wine bar Beichtstuhl. Look forward to quirky bar anecdotes, moving encounters, the music of past nights, and plenty of Mainz humor.

Wolfgang Klein has lived in Mainz for many years and has published numerous books in German and Romanian. As part of the reading series "Rheinhessen reads," he brings his stories to the places where they are especially well received: right into the heart of Mainz's pub life.
