During a pleasure trip through the vineyards in the Selz valley, the daughter of the most famous winemaker in the village is found dead. Kurt-Otto Hattemer, a winemaker himself, can't help but conduct his own investigation. In doing so, he deals not only with his colleagues but also with greedy heirs and an opaque wine journalist. And to make matters worse, his dear wife Renate has signed him up for the annual fun run …
