Römerfest Alzey

In the beautiful setting of Alzey Castle, 130 performers present with great attention to detail the civilian life of the Romans. There are numerous spectacular program points such as gladiator fights, Roman riders, shooting demonstrations, birds of prey shows, formations, and more. Children can discover and try out the techniques of the Romans through hands-on activities. Roman merchants as well as drinks and food invite you to browse and enjoy on Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 6 PM. Tickets for the Roman Festival can be purchased in advance and at the box office.
