Schon gesehen: Kunscht umsunscht- eine Kultur-Stadtführung

"Bad Kreuznach is an open gallery with over 100 sculptures, monuments, and installations that can be discovered in the urban landscape year-round and free of charge," says Stephan Dahl. Without any admission fee, walkers are offered a lot, often unnoticed. Therefore, as a cultural and wine ambassador, he has developed the tour "Kunscht umsunscht". The art walk will premiere on Saturday, October 17, at 11:00 a.m. as part of the Tourist Information's program. Starting from the Römerhalle and the Schlosspark, the route reveals 33 art pieces that one often passes by without a second glance.
During the walk through the Schlosspark and Neustadt, participants will learn which artists created their works at what time and under what circumstances. The often surprising stories provide exciting backgrounds to the sculptures and paintings in public spaces. The tour invites you to view familiar corners in a new light; after the walk, you will see Bad Kreuznach with different, art-sharpened eyes.
Tickets cost €10 (with guest card €8). They are available at www.ticket-regional.de and at the Tourist Information in the Haus des Gastes, Kurhausstraße 22-24.
