Founding members (g/slide + harp) of the legendary SUNNYLAND BLUESBAND ( ...and crème de la crème of the Wiesbaden blues scene reunited) present tight blues rock from a wide blues rock repertoire of the 70s.
Back to the roots' - with a range from B.B. King through Eric Clapton or Muddy Waters to ZZ Top or Hendrix - sometimes energetic or also with  soft and sensitive tones -  is the repertoire of SOUTHBOUND TRAIN.

At the forefront is mastermind Gerd Vogel, who presents a unique virtuosic and unmistakable blues style with his gifted playing on the electric and slide guitar.
Alongside Robert Hennrich with his driving as well as soulful playing on the harmonica and his sonorous voice on vocals, plus the fabulous rhythm section with Gerhard Gänsler on bass and Arne Moos on drums, they make up the current 'lineup' of SOUTHBOUND TRAIN.
We are very pleased to have the band back as our guest for our season finale on our cultural stage MP 5.
