Since 2002, the "Worms Network Living Middle Ages" has been inviting visitors to the Spectaculum every year. The market, camp, and spectacle in the meadow and wooded landscape of the Rhine meadows in southern Worms, specifically in the city park "Wormser Wäldchen," now attract thousands of visitors. Guests can expect a medieval experience in the green over three days, featuring over 100 stalls and a colorful program, as well as a large camp with costumed participants.

Storytellers and puppeteers, music groups with medieval programs including fire shows and sword fights, dance groups, and camp groups offering exciting medieval workshops, as well as jugglers, magicians, and various merchants showcasing their goods at the market: at the Spectaculum, there is a lot to see, experience, and participate in for all ages. The represented time period spans from 500 to 1500 AD.
On all days, traditional crafts will be presented, including the making of glass beads, leatherwork, copper jewelry, turnery and blacksmithing, lace making, spinning, weaving, and wood carving, as well as archery and bronze casting. In addition, there will be hands-on activities such as archery.
