The residential and guest house was built around 1900 for Johann Frank, featuring a dance hall, and was used as a cinema starting in 1923. The renovation in 1958 included a sandstone portal with a double-winged door, a large poster showcase, and a three-quarter cylindrical ticket booth in the entrance area, as well as permanently installed rising seating with 365 wooden seats. The cinema is among the earliest projection venues in the state and authentically conveys the atmosphere of a movie theater from the 1950s.
