Day & Night of Art
Family program with workshops and evening tours
This year, for the first time, the “Böhringer Ingelheim International Days” are expanding their annual event to include an afternoon family program: The “Day & Night of Art” event on François-Lachenal-Platz is a highlight of the supporting program, which complements the art exhibition “From London to Venice. Whistler & Masuyama” (April 26 to July 6, 2026) at the Kunstforum Ingelheim – Altes Rathaus.
The Museum at the Imperial Palace and the Imperial Palace Research Center are participating with an afternoon creative program from 3 to 6 p.m. on the theme “Monsters – Cathedral – Adventure” for all age groups, as well as evening family tours in the museum starting at 8 p.m. In addition, the monuments in the “Kaiserpfalz Ingelheim Archaeological Zone” will be atmospherically illuminated and open late into the night. They can be explored at a leisurely pace during a free short guided tour through the medieval walls.
To participate in the tours, registration by phone with the museum is required by June 10, 2026. The museum is open continuously from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. with free admission. The tours in the museum and the monument area, as well as most of the workshops, are free of charge.
