The White Tape (Pearl Jam Tribute)

With some riffs, Stone Gossard brings Jeff Ament and his old friend Mike back together
McCready borrows drummer Matt Cameron from Soundgarden and records some instrumental demos.
These demos fall into the hands of former Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Jack Irons, who in turn passes the band on to a friend named Eddie Vedder, a surfer and singer from San Diego without a band.
One day, Eddie recorded some lyrics to the demos that he had received on a "white cassette." This tape – featuring the "Momma-Son" trilogy – was sent by E D D I E "a friend in California" to Stone and Jeff.
Thus, in the early 90s, Pearl Jam was formed alongside other bands like Nirvana, Soundgarden, and Alice. In Chains, they brought the so-called "Seattle Sound" to life, which was later defined as grunge & alternative rock.

The White Tape reproduces the sounds of the band from Seattle with great attention to detail and traces a journey through their greatest hits since the early 90s, in search of the distinctive sound and atmosphere of the American band.
