WeinGroove: Hiking, Wine & Culinary Delights

The cities of Nierstein and Oppenheim continue their close cooperation for the event "WeinGroove" this year as well. The event takes place on the grounds of the Nierstein Raddeck Winery, in the area around the Trutzturm, and in the Oppenheim Ruins of Landskron. With its unique event concept, the two neighboring communities once again provide a unique framework in the entire region for the central tourist cornerstones of wine, landscape, music, and enjoyment.

Once again, the "Trutzturm" on the boundary between Nierstein and Oppenheim, the Raddeck Winery, and the Ruins of Landskron serve as the event locations, forming the cornerstones of the approximately five-kilometer-long experience mile. With sightlines into the Rhine Valley towards the south over the city of Oppenheim, views of the Odenwald extending into the Rhine-Neckar region, or over the city of Nierstein with views over the Red Cliff, all the way to the Taunus and into the Rhine-Main region towards the Frankfurt skyline, breathtaking "views" await.

Culinary delights have also been significantly enhanced: from cakes, tarts, coffee, and snacks to vegan burgers, wild sausages and burgers, a wonderful variety of cheeses, tart flambe, and fries, all tastes will be catered for. The offering is rounded off with local and regional top wines as well as non-alcoholic beverages. Exciting programs await even the smallest guests.

Arrival & Parking
In the spirit of ecological sustainability, which is at the heart of the event, all those involved emphasize the arrival of guests via public transport. The starting points of the route are easily accessible on foot from the respective train stations of both municipalities as well as from the parking options at the REWE market in Nierstein, the Landskron Gallery, and the ALDI and Lidl parking lots in Oppenheim. Parking or stopping on field and agricultural roads is prohibited. Admission wristbands can be purchased at the access points for 8.00 euros per person.
