WINE HIKING in the Selztal - around the Westwieserhof -
Upon arrival, you can choose a bottle of wine (or grape juice) from our vineyard and will then be provided with offerings from the farm kitchen, a bottle of water, and the hiking plan. This way, you can have a picnic at any spot along our marked circular hiking trail (8 – 10 – or 12 km) at any time. Stunning views around the Selztal, the Donnersberg, Taunus, and even the skyline of Frankfurt provide unforgettable hiking moments. An additional supply point is set up along the way at the mountain station (with unique panoramic views). After the hike, we offer coffee and homemade cake as well as Rheinhessen delicacies at the Westwieserhof.

Supplies (with bread roll, sausage *) and wine / grape juice + surprise) at the starting point, please bring a BACKPACK. Sturdy footwear is recommended & a picnic blanket. Own glasses can be brought along (or rented from us against a deposit). *) Vegetarian option available for booking

Start: from 10:00 AM (We recommend starting no later than 1:00 PM)

Duration: depending on fitness level between 2.5 and 4.5 hours

Circular hiking route of 8, 10, or 12 km (It can be terminated at any time)

Participation fee: €22.00    Children up to 12 years €10.00
