The trio Wildes Holz has made a name for itself by playing rock and pop music on "real" instruments at last. And those are of course wooden instruments! In particular, the common recorder, which gives this music a very special touch.
But if it works with rock classics, it should definitely be possible with the "real" classics! Thus, Wildes Holz takes on Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Vivaldi, Brahms, or Telemann - and plays their music as if they were rock classics. In a way, they are.
