Wonnegauer Wine Walk in Bechtheim – History Meets Enjoyment

On Friday, June 12, 2026, cultural and wine ambassador Yvonne Gassmann, together with the Brüssel winery, invites you to the Wonnegauer Wine Walk once again. The event starts at 6:30 PM, meeting point is the Brüssel winery, Winzerstraße 15 in Bechtheim.

The guided tour lasts about 2.5 hours and combines culture, history, and wine into a special experience. At a total of six stations, participants will discover exciting aspects of the location – from the medieval pillory to the monumental basilica with crypt and pilgrim procession, through the two historic wells to the Protestant church and the search for traces of Jewish life in Bechtheim.

The tour is accompanied by three selected wines from the Brüssel winery, which will be tasted directly at the stations. A small snack will also be provided, ensuring that bodily well-being is not neglected.

The Wonnegauer Wine Walk is a format that first took place in Bechtheim in 2025 and has since received great acclaim. It entertainingly combines local history, cultural monuments, and wine diversity – showcasing how vibrant the cultural heritage of Rheinhessen is.

Tickets cost €25.00 per person.

As the number of participants is limited, early registration is recommended.
