meinRad is the bike rental system of Mainzer Mobilität and enables flexible mobility in Mainz and neighboring communities. Around 180 stations offer approximately 1,600 bikes daily, available around the clock, including standard bikes, pedelecs, and e-cargo bikes.
Usage is through the free meinRad app, available in the Apple App Store and on Google Play. After registration, bikes can be rented and returned directly through the app. The app displays all available stations and bikes in a map view.
meinRad stations are located in almost all Mainz districts as well as in surrounding communities such as Budenheim, Ginsheim-Gustavsburg, Bischofsheim, and Kostheim. The system is continuously being expanded to ensure comprehensive coverage.
For students in Mainz, there are discounted rates, such as the price tier "Mainzer Studis Komfort," where the first 60 minutes of each ride are free.
