The classic: Hiking on the RhineTerrassenWeg

The RheinTerrassenWeg especially impresses hikers who like to be seduced by impressive architecture and inviting wine taverns. It leads through the vineyards about 75 kilometers above the Rhine and connects the wine and cathedral cities of Mainz and Worms, leading through historic towns and typical wine villages. The parallel railway line makes it possible to divide the RheinTerrassenWeg in stages and to return comfortably to the starting point.

1st day: Arrival to Worms

2nd day: Worms to Osthofen, approx. 14 km

3rd day: Osthofen to Guntersblum, approx. 20 km

Day 4: Guntersblum to Nierstein, approx. 15 km

5th day: Nierstein to Bodenheim, approx. 12 km

Day 6: Bodenheim to Mainz, approx. 15 km
