Episode 5 | Saber, champagne & Scheurebe

Experience Rheinhessen - the road movie! With Uschi from Mainz and Lennart from Berlin we go on a road trip through the wine experience region Rheinhessen - experience seven episodes full of stories with wine, country and people! In episode 5, Uschi and Lennart take their Bulli to Flörsheim-Dalsheim.

The village, which is known for its patch wall, is located in the far south of Rheinhessen and is home to the Raumland sparkling wine house.
At Volker Raumland, Lennart learns what a Rhenish Hessian winegrowers sparkling wine is and why it is related to champagne. Because it is made in the style of champenoise through traditional bottle fermentation.
Then the road trip leads to Alzey. In the footsteps of Volker von Alzey, Uschi and Lennart stop at the Vinothek Rheinhessen am Roßmark to try a Scheurebe, a wine from the Rhine-Hesse region.
The day ends at the Flonheimer Trullo with a fantastic view over Rheinhessen.
