The Rheinhessenvinothek - Weingalerie and Weinlounge is an association of 50 winegrowers from the Rheinhessen region, who run the Vinothek and wine gastronomy together. In the pretty half-timbered building on the Roßmarkt, a total of 150 wines from Rheinhessen will be presented. Especially this selection is something special - as a large regional wine shop in the south of Rheinhessen it offers the advantage for guests to compare the wines of many wineries and to be able to buy directly. The winemakers appreciate the opportunity to have a second foothold in a well-attended urban shopping environment in addition to the yard sale.

But the operators of the Vinothek do not only want to inspire with the large selection, but also with proven service quality and pleasant atmosphere. That this succeeds, now certifies the seal of quality "Rheinhessen-EXCELLENT-Vinothek". The extensive quality check preceding the award was carried out by a jury of three members of staff from Rheinhessen-Touristik, Rheinhessenwein eV and DLR. Important factors in the certification include the reliable opening time on Fridays and Saturdays and the presentation of the range in a high-quality ambience, in freely accessible shelves that encourage the guest to self-service. At the same time, competent advice must be guaranteed at all times. The award certifies the Vinothek and its operators an above-average quality awareness, high-quality ambience and a strong sense of service.
